Santa Croce, a symmetric basilica of Santa Maria Novella, but in the same time, different and very interesting it is a Franciscan church, famous for the tombs of important people such as Michelangiolo and for the many art works of the most important italian artist: Giotto, Taddeo Gaddi, Donatello.
From the large square of Santa Croce, throw narrow streets, you’ll arrive to Bargello a civic building with an important museum. Here you can admire works by Donatello (the David), Michelangelo (Bacchus), Giambologna and many others.
If the Duomo square tour will give you a good knowledge of the religious center of the town,  Signoria square will show you the civic center of Florence. You’ll visit the Cathedral (Duomo) with the big dome by Brunelleschi and the Signoria Palace by Arnolfo di Cambio. Of course these two parts have been connected during the centuries and so they are still now.
You can cross the river Arno on Ponte Vecchio, the most ancient bridge of Florence, with its famous jewelries.
Going back you can cross again the river by the Santa Trinita Bridge and visit the namesake church.
You will be touched by the square and the church of Santa maria Novella with its beautiful facade (Leon Battista Alberti) and the precious frescoes of its interior (Ghirlandaio, the Trinity by Masaccio).
